Happy Sun of the South also called December Solstice

22 Dec

When we decide to bring harmony into our lives, it is imperative that we acknowledge the importance of learning from nature. The idea of “As above, so below” is what we should keep in mind. Each nation has their own story of the sky. However the physical movements in Astronomy is what guides these fables and predictions. Today the planet has tilted away from the sun in the northern hemisphere, with a corresponding tilt towards the sun in the southern hemisphere. As the sun is now in favour of the south, they are having summer, as we are tilted away from the sun in the northern hemisphere, we are experiencing winter. What is on Your 2020 Time-Line?

17 Dec

We are three weeks into the final month of 2019, a new decade beckons and we are here on the eve of the 2020’s. With each decade comes new ideas. Which significant changes will you be incorporating into your life? Which changes will you be giving a wide birth? Who has surprised you in a good way, or may have challenged your view of them? Have you surprised yourself in any way? Perhaps this is a rhetorical question: you are one of seven billion and counting and change is the only constant, for ourselves, our planet and the universe. It is no secret that our existence on earth, has been thwarted by problems which are self initiated, or caused by environmental, political, social or economic concerns: indeed, some of these issues are in our control, others may not be. And when we attempt to harmonise our gifts and talents with the needs of society, success will be waiting to degrees on a scale of our own making.

How have you been using your time over the last decade? In other words, you have had access to what we call 10 years or 120 months or 3,650 days. These bench marks have been shared with you as a reminder, to make plans for the next new decade using your daily allocation of 1,440 daily minutes. Get excited its going to be great.

What are your dreams, your goals, your talents? Have you found out why you are here? If not, now might be a good time to investigate. Find your teachers and journey guides. Ask for their help. Outline a plan of how you will help yourself. Explore what the pitfalls might be in all that you put into place.

Who are your kindred spirits, who will journey with you? Have you found them yet? So much to do to fit into our time here on earth. And When you create your own questions to customise your results, you will know what you have to do. Journaling is a good way to review how you have spent your time and how best to use your gifts and talents going forward. So the question is, what are you getting ready to do? What have you decided to put into your 2020 timeline?

A Joyful Solstice Reflection

21 Dec

THE LONGEST NIGHT

The December solstice in the northern hemisphere alludes to Spiritual transformation and creativity both of which are internal processes, both of which take place in the darkness, in the depths of our being, called by many names and variously described at different levels as the soul, the spirit, the direct connection to the source of all things, our connectedness to nature, and the Collective unconscious as coined by Carl Jung.

The name itself is derived from the Latin ‘Sol’ meaning the sun and ‘sistere’ meaning to stand. The combined variations are ‘solstitium’ or solstice. The sun standing still is alluding to the fact that during the solstice transits, the sun will either reach its highest point in the sky and we experience the longest day or reach the lowest point in the sky and we experience the longest night. On both occasions during the days following the actual event of the tilt towards or away from the sun, the sun will appear to be standing still before it changes direction and takes us towards spring or autumn.

Spiritually the sun is said to die and is reborn again around 25th December. Numerous winter festivals are based on the movements of the celestial bodies in the heavens which are used to provide guidance on how humanity should live. This was the case in ancient Egypt which although contested, predates Christianity by thousands of years. The iconography, deities, and symbolism from around the world and in the major world religions, can be found in ancient Egypt: The birthplace of marking time and the first written calendar.

DR CHARLES S. FINCH III

Eminent scholar, author and African Indigenous Priest, Dr Charles S. Finch III reminds us to acknowledge the solstice transit and immerse ourselves in the energy of the full moon, which falls on the day after today’s auspicious event. THE SUN AND THE MOON

Universally we have come to view this time of year as a time to celebrate life with family and friends. December is also a time to take stock and make plans for the coming year. Happy Sun of The Middle September 2018

23 Sep

It’s about that time again, the second sun of the middle for the year. As we know, this month marks a turning point towards winter (in the northern hemisphere) or summer (in the southern hemisphere). All the seasonal changes remind us to reflect on what has gone before, what we are doing now and what we can look forward to in the future. When we review and consolidate our knowledge and experiences, we are better able to make sense of our emotional connection to the past, the present and the future.

A REMINDER AND SOME FACTS ABOUT MEASURING TIME

Definition of a day: when earth makes a complete spin on its own axis, we get one day followed by one night. You can check with NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration) or look back in your own memory and perhaps you will agree with me that this measurement of what we call a day, is universal with two caveats and is counted as a 24 hour period. If you are not sure then Relax and learn.

TELLING TIME CLOSER TO THE EQUATOR The first caveat is that there are several nations on the African continent, and in particular the East Africans, who tell the time using a 12 hour clock. The first hour of a new day starts not at one second past 12 midnight, but at 6am the following day at sunrise. This way of telling time is easier for those living in locations where the hours of sunlight during a day, remains almost constant throughout the year.

TELLING TIME CLOSER TO THE POLES Those of us who live in locations further away from the equator, experience fluctuations of sunlight and the further north or south you go, these fluctuations become extreme. For example those living in locations on the equator will experience approximately 12 hours of sunlight all year. Those living at or close to the poles will experience the midnight sun in summer (almost 24 hours of daylight) and the polar night in winter (almost 24 hours of night).

TIME GOING EAST TIME GOING WEST The second caveat to consider is that the imaginary lines of longitude on our globe demarcates time, depending on where you are located on earth. For example, using Cairo in present day Egypt as the centre of the earth, if you travel westward you lose time: the reverse is the case if you travel east.

Definition of a week: when a number of days are grouped together to make a standard measurement, which is repeated ad infinitum, we call this a week. This measurement can be as many or as few days as dictated by the traditions of a particular nation.

Definition of a month: the measurement of the passage of time using the lunar cycle. In this respect, strictly speaking, the Ethiopian calendar is not really 13 months but 12 months plus 5 holy days or 5 days of celebrations.

Definition of a year: when the passing of time is measured using the orbit of the earth making one complete cycle around the sun. There are many different measurements which are referred to as a year, so depending on your culture and traditions you could be a head of the Western calendar or behind it. The measurement of a year is not universal. See a link to a previous post here.  Indeed, every one who is born on earth has their own annual solar return earth day celebrations or not depending on the individuals culture and traditions.

Change is the only constant and measuring our time using two extra terrestrials, plus a third category called ‘stars’, is one explanation of the term As Above So Below! Furthermore, it is widely acknowledged that the first calendar was created by the African nations who lived along the Nile Valley, several millennia ago. It has since been duplicated in part and or modified by successive civilisations, in particular the Greeks and the Romans. Ethiopia is part of the Nile Valley civilisation and the Ethiopian calendar has kept the thirteen month format and is the closest to the original in terms of this fact.

Cepheus on The Rise: In a recent post the final book of fables of 2018 was published as part of the Amunet’s Fables Series: The title is Cepheus on the rise. Cepheus in Greek mythology is the Ethiopian King and the constellation is named after him.  See a link here.

It only remains for us to wish all of of our readers a successful and joyful 2011 and beyond.

WOMEN’S US OPEN 2018 CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT

9 Sep

So there is a new winner of the Women’s US Open Tennis tournament. Well done and congratulations to both players. The funny thing is, in book 6 of the Amunet’s Fables series, there is a short story called ‘Shadows Fighting’ and in this short story there is a character called Naomi… a reminder perhaps, that change is the only constant…in more ways than one… Additionally the author has been known to tap into the the stream of time belonging to the intuitive empaths… perhaps this is yet another example…

Why not have a read of CELESTIAL CREATE YOUR OWN HEAVEN see what you think and do leave a comment to share with others. You are welcome.

Film Maker and Life Coach Nuakai Aru has already reviewed the book and has this to say:

“Celestial – Create Your Own Heaven introduces the reader to a group of fables which cleverly reveals the nuances of cause and effect, breaking family curses, releasing emotions and transformation through strife”

Review of A Modern Day Fable – Towards The Light

7 Sep

EXPLORING THE POWER OF EARTHS ENERGY AND THE ENCOUNTERS WE COME FACE TO FACE WITH – WHICH CAN BE AMUSING AND SCARY AT THE SAME TIME

In the video above, we are invited to listen to some comments and reflections, shared by author El Crisis. He is reviewing ‘Towards The Light’ Taken from book 7 ‘Crystalline Towards The Grid’, a collection of four short stories, which acknowledge the power of Earth’s Energy and our own spirituality. Each fable is a reminder that what we do, can cause a chain reaction and in the midst of what ensues, we have choices to make or they will be made for us. As we are reminded in the final moments of the story:

“…and when we no longer want something, having it doesn’t matter any more…”

SATURDAY 11th AUGUST THE LAUNCH DAY OF BOOK 7 WAS QUITE SPECTACULAR

Although the moon was new, so invisible to us, it was a super moon, meaning that it came the closest to earth that it can in its orbit. There was also a partial solar eclipse and a meteor shower. The above video reminds us to pay attention to what is happening in the heavens, before there was television, we were encouraged to take a view of the sky and go within to our inner vision: during these times, spirituality was seen as the most important aspect of the person. In various indigenous cultures and traditions this was the case. The further back you go the more so. Great emphasis was therefore placed on being mindful of ones surroundings and mindful of ones thoughts.

WHAT IS THE ULTIMATE MINDFULNESS EXPERIENCE?

The Completion of a Cycle and Cepheus on the Rise

25 Aug

PAY ATTENTION TO THE HEAVENS

NEW BOOK ALERT: CEPHEUS ON THE RISE IS READY HOT OFF THE PRESS. This small book of fables, has been named after one of the northern hemisphere circumpolar constellations. These stars take it in turn, over a cycle of 26,000 years, to position themselves as earth’s guiding light for those who can see it. How do we know this? Our African Ancestors were excellent mathematicians. Their observations led to the creation of the first calendar. This demanded the attention of serious scholars most of whom were priests and priestesses.

LET’S LOOK AT OUR ATTENTION SPAN TODAY

As we know and as it has been said, time keeps on ticking into the future and as it does, our attention span has slowly declined apparently from 12 seconds to 8. Meanwhile studies have found that on average, a goldfish can concentrate for 9 seconds! This is ofcourse contested by the nay sayers. However regardless of the figures look around for yourselves, and see where we are heading.  Amunet’s Fables have been written to address some of the concerns of our fast-paced living. The style and content are accessible to both accomplished as well as reluctant readers. If you sit quietly and undisturbed, depending on the speed at which you read, it is very possible to complete each book in about half an hour. Hopefully you will learn something about yourself, humanity and the universe and choose to re-read each story time without number. Apparently they are great at parties, at events and presentations and make good presents for all occasions too. Click on the link below for your hot off the press copy.

The Launch Day Special Offer is available for 24 hours only

THE COMPLETION OF A CYCLE

In keeping with marking time the indigenous way, today is a full moon. In astrology this phase represents the completion of a cycle, which was here before we were born and will continue after we return to the ancestral realm. Today the Amunet’s Fables series for 2018 has also completed a cycle. Cepheus On The Rise is the newest addition to the series. In mythology this constellation represents the Ethiopian king. The four short stories in this edition very much locates the man of African heritage at the centre of each narrative. You are invited to Invest a very small amount of time on being mindful. After you have read the book, do leave a comment, every one helps to spread the word.

AMUNET’S FABLES THE COLLECTION

Crystalline Towards The Grid New Book Release On A Super New Moon

10 Aug

Crystalline Towards The Grid is the 7th instalment in The Amunet’s Fables series of books.

Read a snippet here: The Crystalline grid describes the location of some of the most powerful ley-lines which can be identified across planet earth. Ley-lines are lines which link locations of spiritual significance, including landforms as well as man-made structures. The lines closely follow the boundaries of earth’s tectonic plates. When all the lines are connected earth resembles a huge diamond. The Crystalline grid refers to patterns formed by the ley-lines on ‘Aye’ – the Yoruba name for Mother Earth.

Just as the body is said to have energy centres and meridian lines called chakras, so too is this principle relatable to earth. There are three differences between the intersections of the ley-lines. One set of locations are said to be positive portals and are mostly identified by ancient man-made and natural monuments, many of which are said to be in alignment with celestial activity. Another set of locations Read more here

There are Three other events taking place on 11th August 2018

1) A Super New Moon happens when the moon phase is invisible and comes closest to the earth, also called perigee.

2) A Partial Solar Eclipse happens when the Moon comes between the Sun and Earth, but the Moon only partially covers the Sun’s disk.

3) Presides Meteror Shower like all meteor showers, happens around the same time every year. Meteor showers are a celestial event also referred to as shooting stars.

Why not do some research to see if any of the above celestial events will be visible in your region. As above so below. If you are able to experience any of these heavenly treats go for it. Then make some more time for yourself and relax with a book of fables. You now have 7 to choose from the Amunet’s Fables Series, plus an African Ancestral Day Special edition.

Please leave a review on Amazon and give each book as many stars as you like.
