21 Dec

The season to be Mindful…

Mindful of yourself, Mindful of others, Mindful of your environment, Mindful of the planet…

THE Science

The Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year. It is also called ‘the sun of the south’ by the Dogon nation of West Africa (see more details on the landing page).

The sun will set at 15:53 GMT making the lenght of this day 7 hours, 49 minutes and 44 seconds. What does this mean? Perhaps the universe is encouraging us to go within, relax and create new things ready for the spring…

Today the planet will tilt away from the sun at approximately 16:28 GMT. Why not take some time to resonate with this moment? We will all be moving together, where ever we find ourself on the globe… Remember those who are facing challenges…

THE Festivities

How will you be spending the festive season? With friends and family? I hope you will also make some quiet time for yourself… Perhaps ask yourself these questions: What have I done to make myself feel proud? What have been the challenges? Did I create any workable solutions?

The university of life is the best teacher ever… work towards your goals and remember to relax into your destiny…

Amunet’s Fables is a quintet of wise words for reluctant and accomplished readers. Choose one or get all four books. Be reminded that reading is the ultimate mindfulness experience… Why not gift a copy to a friend or family member?

It is not easy to feel the tilt, but we know it has happened because our days get longer…
